Marine Fabrication

Lightship built the submarine camel on the left for the U.S. Navy. Here, it is being assembled at our fabrication facility. On the right, a Lightship fabricator works on some aluminum ducting for a shipboard application.

The size of Lightship's production facility and the experience of the staff allows us to handle a wide variety of jobs, from small and simple to large and difficult. We have rebuilt double bottom tanks, voids, and cofferdams. We have fabricated new freestanding tanks for new construction projects. Deck repairs, equipment foundations, pipe fitting and welding are just a small sample of our capabilities.
